Health Care Exchange

Chamber of Commerce members may qualify to receive a discount on health care programs for their employees and/or themselves.


Chamber members receive a weekly e-newsletter. Chamber members are encouraged to submit information on projects and/or events for the newsletter.


Your Chamber of Commerce website features fresh news and information. Items included: calendar of events, member to member discounts, a list of members, forms, minutes, financial reports and newsletter.

Monthly Meetings

Your Chamber hosts meetings on the 4th Thursday of each month at noon. The location of each meeting is posted on the website. Chamber members sponsor the meeting. Lunch is provided. Member announcements and a presentation are a part of the meeting.

Your Chamber can assist you with information regarding Charity Gaming including raffles, card games and bingo.

Hospitality Development

Your Chamber works to build a strong sense of hospitality (customer service) in the community. Hospitality workshops are scheduled throughout the year.

Buy Washington County

Your Chamber promotes and assists businesses doing business with one another in the community. The Chamber promotes ‘shopping at home’ for businesses and residents. This includes the Cash Mob Families and Local Motion Program.

New Business Services

Your Chamber is active in welcoming new businesses to the community. The Chamber will assist with celebrations for new members, which may include planning assistance and /or a ribbon cutting.

Your Chamber will celebrate and recognize your expansions and improvements. The Chamber can assist members with the planning of an event which may include a ribbon cutting.

Your Chamber works closely with area festivals. The Chamber organizes two Friday Nights on the Square events each year. Your Chamber is the host organization for the Christmas Parade and Santa House. Your Chamber hosts events to bring individuals/families/businesses to the community.

Your Chamber sends regular emails to members. Information is provided to keep members updated on relevant news.

Multiple Email Accounts

Members are allowed up to 8 emails accounts that may receive email updates from the Chamber.

Scam Reports

Your Chamber sends emails to members when ‘scams’ are reported in the area, to keep members informed.

Social Media Monitoring

Your Chamber notifies a business if negative posts are seen on social media sites, when possible. **

Community Leadership

Your Chamber is dedicated to area businesses and organization. Your Chamber serves as ‘the voice’ for Chamber members.

Community Recognition

Your Chamber presents awards to the ‘Citizen of the Year,’ ‘Emerging Youth Entrepreneur,’ and ‘Business of the Year’. Awards are distributed at the Chamber’s Annual Dinner.

Welcome Center

Your Chamber Office provides a wide variety of materials to the public, including festival and tourism information. Maps of the community are also available as well as phone books, while supplies last.

Economic Development Information

Your Chamber will provide demographic and statistical information. This information may be used by those seeking to move a new business to Washington County or businesses seeking to expand. This information may be necessary for organizations seeking grants.
