Many of the local establishments are offering sales to help parents with back to school supplies.  "It simply makes sense to shop locally," said Anita Bush, Marketing Director for the Chamber of Commerce.  "Traveling out of town to shop is expensive due to high gas prices.  Many local businesses are offering sales that compare to out of town stores.  Shopping locally helps both the parents and the economy in Washington County."
