Primary Prevention Educator: Provide school-based prevention programming in Clark, Washington and Scott Counties in Southern Indiana using evidenced-based curricula. Position is a 30+ hours per week contract at $15.00 per hour. Bachelor’s degree in child development, education or human services and prevention certification preferred, but will consider those working on degree. Will be working with second grade students and will be responsible for networking with school personnel to schedule presentations. Candidate must possess strong organizational skills, communication skills (both writing and presentation) and have dependable transportation. Must pass national and state criminal background check. Position runs through June 30, 2012 and may be renewed based on program outcomes and available funding.
