IndianaGeorge.com is a website that gathers verified Social Media and Public Google Calendar links to local Washington County Businesses, Community Organizations, County and Town Governments and just about anyone in Washington County who wishes to Connect to the Community.

An easier way to think about IndianaGeorge.com is as a Direct, Super Deluxe, Ever Changing, and Current Phone Book.

Just a couple of the Public Google Calendar Projects

Where’s the Food? – To gather, for example, Restaurant daily specials, Fire Station and Church Barbeques Public Google Calendars and layer them into one Public Google Calendar called “Where’s the Food?”.

The Where’s the Food? Calendar acts like a Food Court in a Mall.  All the Specials and Events are in one location that can be advertised.  The Business or Community Organization has complete control over their own calendars.  Location, time, offering and price can be listed on the calendar in real time.  Orders and prepayment can also be taken with these links.

Government Meeting and Information Calendars – With the new Indiana State Livestreaming law that went into effect this last July 2025, small local governments can struggle to satisfy what is legally expected of them.

IndianaGeorge.com along with IndianaProud.com has two sets of camera/computer equipment – Fred and George – with access to a deluxe StreamYard.com livestreaming and video suite that can be rented for meeting or business use.  Fred and George are two different sets whose real purpose is to show what equipment costs and how it works so that any organization (or anyone wanting to set up their own equipment) has a place to start.

I am from Campbellsburg in Washington County.  I was brought up knowing how blessed I was and that I should use the gifts God gave me to help others if I can.  I’m very conservative and believe that if you save your neighbor, you save yourself.  My mom put it simply, “Can you help?  Well, get at it then.”

I do know.

Almost 40 years of Business experience – From the smallest flea market to wholesale shows in Atlanta, GA - St. Louis, MO - Gatlinburg, TN – Philadelphia, PA to name a few.  At one point, we sold Vase Candle in retail stores in 26 states.  Mall Stores at the Green Tree Mall Clarksville – both permanent and pop-up.

Over 30 years as an online merchant – Amazon, Etsy, Ebay - as well as my own websites.

Over 20 years as a media source – IndianaProud.com – online audio and video – both self-hosted as well as youtube in later years.

I get it.

I ask my kids occasionally, “would you like to learn how to do this?” and the light just fades from their eyes.  It all looks like a lot of work with very little benefit.  But I am going to tell you that from all of my decades of experience this is the cheapest, most effective way to connect the community.  If there is anyone out there that would like to try, I would like to help.
