Washington County Actors' Community Theatre

The Washington County Actors’ Community Theatre is a nonprofit community theatre based in Salem, Indiana, dedicated to bringing live theatre to local audiences. 

Located at Gary W. Hartsook Hall, the theatre presents a full season of musicals, dramas, and comedies each year, offering entertainment for all ages while supporting local performers and volunteers.  

In addition to mainstage productions, WCACT includes a vibrant youth program — Pied Piper Productions — that provides students from kindergarten through grade 12 the chance to gain theatrical experience on stage and behind the scenes.  

Over the years, multiple WCACT participants have gone on to pursue opportunities beyond the local stage, including work on Broadway and in feature films, reflecting the strong foundation the community theatre provides.
